The Thule 810 SUP Taxi Paddleboard Carrier is built around a stacked board configuration utilizing soft, but durable lower pads and spring-loaded locking straps protected by chafe guards to secure boards to the carrier’s two main assemblies attached to each of your roof rack’s load bars. The system features a standard carrying capacity of two paddleboards, surfboards or sailboards (a second paddleboard can be stacked on the first with a towel or cloth between them). The carrier’s easy-to-use and efficient rooftop board carrying system features exceptional compatibility, installing without the use of tools within minutes on any Thule base roof rack system (square, elliptical Rapid Aero bars, Xsporter truck rack bars etc.) or virtually any aftermarket or factory rack system. This ease of installation is based on the use of the integrated best-in-class Speed-Link universal mounting system which allows you to simply clamp each of the two main assemblies of the unit to your roof rack’s load bars with a few turns of a dial. Furthermore, the carrier’s supporting pads feature a lateral telescoping ability that allow them to slide away from their center to accommodate various sizes of boards up to 34-inches in width.

Two-way Locking Functionality

Because the security of your boards from theft is always a concern when they are left alone mounted on your vehicle, the Thule 810 SUP Taxi Paddleboard Carrier offers two levels of security. The unit ships with four lock cylinders and matching keys. Two of these are used to secure boards to the carrier by locking the strap used to hold boards in place to the carrier. The remaining two locks are used to freeze the control knob of the Speed-Link mounting clamps in place, which secures the board and carrier to your roof rack.

About Thule

Thule was founded in 1942 by the Thulin family, when Eric Thulin, a true lover of the outdoors, put the Thule name on a pike trap he designed and began to sell in Scandinavia. It wasn’t long before he added other practical items to the company’s portfolio. By the 1960s, the company began to concentrate on car-related products, including its first roof rack. The Thulin family sold Thule to the publicly listed company Eldon in 1979, and it has continued to grow both organically and through acquisitions ever since. The Thule Group is a world leader in providing transport solutions for an active life.
