Great for water sports! I bought this hat for wakeboarding for the specific reason that the straps cover the ears. Prior, I blew out my ear drum from a fall and I wanted to have ear protection for the future. It’s now my favorite hat to wear on the boat all day. The straps keep it on with the wind, and it’s only fallen off a couple of times while wakeboarding (gotta strap it tight!). The brim also nicely keeps the sun off the face and back of the neck and is short enough that wind doesn’t make it flop everywhere. I…
Very needed if you want to protect from the sun when doing water sports. Going to use it every day for kitesurfing. Many people already do. Bought one for my wife, she is happy with the color. The material that the hat is made of dries quickly. Would buy FCS again for kitesurfing accessories. The hat feels a bit deep in the beginning, but later you realize it is a needed feature when you start turning around in respect to the sun.
