I leave the boards attached to the rack and just remove it from the car.Quick on, quick off.Much more flexible than a single set of bars for one car.Actual rack is very good quality – straps and clips are heavy duty. Can see them lasting a while.Only drawbacks are those you’ll find with all soft racks – the straps go through the car, and you need to be careful of scratching the paint work (with the heavy duty clips)…
Works as advertised. Very strong, easy to put on and off the car. I like the fact that it has it’s own storage bag. I can throw it in the trunk of the car without hassle and pull it out to use whenever I need it. Sure, the straps are a bother inside the car, but this was never designed to be a permanent surf rack, just something to hold the boards safely on top of the car from time to time.My surf spot is only 15 miles from where I live and some of that is 55+mph on the highway…
